Jacques Renard Freeman, 31, of Perry has been arrested and charged with homicide in connection with the Saturday, Feb. 22 shooting death of Terry Conrad Griffin, 43, in the parking lot of a local convenience store and gas station.

The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office reports that 58-year-old Danny Paul Whitsel of Gassville is being held at the Baxter County Detention Center for first-degree murder.
