When I was a child, I collected all of the Peanuts pocketbooks as they came out. I remember, when I was 10, I walked into a bookstore and asked the lady, “Do you have any books by Charles M. Schulz?” She smiled, assuming rightfully that I was trying to class up my reading choices. She replied graciously, “Oh, you mean Peanuts.”
