Ferrari is still investigating the cause of the power loss, with Hamilton admitting he is "praying everything's ok" after missing crucial long runs.
Team Principal Fred Vasseur confirmed the team will "take a decision tonight" on necessary repairs before Saturday's FP3 and Qualifying sessions.
Hamilton rejected suggestions that Ferrari holds "quite an advantage" due to turbo performance, noting Mercedes and Red Bull remain quick at the end of straights.
