Full closure of Northbound I-405 in Bothell | Nov. 6-9
Crews will remove part of the Canyon Park pedestrian bridge to clear space for I-405 expansion and future Stride bus rapid transit service.
The Washington State Department of Transportation closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 405 in Bothell from 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, through 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, for construction work.
Crews are removing a portion of the pedestrian bridge at the Canyon Park Park and Ride as part of the I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project to allow for I-405 expansion.
The closure spans from SR-522 to SR-527, with six ramps closed including Northeast 128th Street, Northeast 160th Street, and Northeast 195th Street on- and off-ramps .
Drivers should expect heavier traffic on northbound I-5 and surface streets in Woodinville and Bothell, while pedestrians can use Community Transit routes 106 or 120 or a temporary construction shuttle.
Crews will build a new pedestrian bridge connecting to the future Stride bus rapid transit station currently under construction, with the bridge scheduled to open in 2028.
