Last Saturday, I, along with hundreds of other locals, enjoyed time off at Twyford’s Summer Fete. It helped, of course, that the weather was fine – warm, yet not too hot, with occasional light cloud providing a break from the sun – a perfect English late-summer day would sum it up.
