The European Researchers' Night – European Researchers' Night is today, September 25th. The initiative promoted by the European Commission since 2005 with the aim of celebrating science and bringing it closer to citizens takes place at the same time in more than 30 countries and 300 European cities. Portugal embraces the initiative, from the University of Minho, to the FCT-NOVA and ITQB NOVA, passing through the University of Coimbra.
It is the most scientific night of the year. This Friday, scientists from all over the country come out in a public exhibition of what is done in Portugal, but also of how science affects our day-to-day lives.
