Fred Meyer says goodbye to iconic Burlingame sign

The sign, located at 7555 SW Barbur Blvd., has been a fixture of the store since its opening in the ‘50s. The grocery company says they made their decision to remove the sign after “extensive damage from years of weathering storms.”
