Fraser set to be named coach of finals-bound Carlton
Fraser guided Carlton to 10 wins and a draw in 13 games, turning a one-win start into a wildcard berth and leapfrogging other candidates.
Carlton has locked in Josh Fraser as senior coach for at least the next three years, with an official club announcement set to come later this week.
Fraser took over in May when the Blues sat 16th on the ladder with one win from nine games following Michael Voss's departure, having previously served as Collingwood's head of development.
Under the former ruckman, the team secured 10 wins from 13 games while reaching a wildcard final; Fraser beat out candidates Corey Enright, Jaymie Graham, James Kelly, and Daniel Giansiracusa.
The Carlton board deliberated on Monday following the club's draw with the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium on Sunday, which secured wildcard qualification.
Hosting Fremantle at Marvel Stadium this weekend, the Blues will conclude their home-and-away season before shifting focus toward the upcoming wildcard finals.
