A subject was shot down at Corazos beach in Arica after attempting to carry out an armed assault on a Carabineros officer in the early morning of this Friday.When approached by three subjects, the carabinieri shot and killed one of the individuals, who was also armed.The prosecutor of the Organized Crime and Homicide Team (ECOH) Daniella Annibali instructed the Homicide Brigade and the Arica Crime Lab of the Investigative Police.
According to the first background, the events occurred around 3 a.m. in the Corazon beach sector, where the civilian officer was approached by three armed individuals.
