VIDEO - The President of the Republic inaugurated this Friday the new premises of the French Embassy in Mauritius recalling the friendship with the country.
The first day of official travel to Africa for French President Emmanuel Macron, who landed this 20 November on Mauritius, a country considered "a strategic neighbour" of France, because of his geographical proximity to Réunion Island. The French President and the Mauritian Prime Minister made a joint statement at the end of the day in Port-Louis. The two men showed their common will to revive the relationship between France and Mauritius.
