Several high-ranking FPÖ National Council members were also present at the funeral of former FPÖ district councillor Walter Sucher. A song sung at the grave in the version that the Nazis' so-called "Schutzstaffel" SS had rewritten caused outrage. The Greens, SPÖ and Neos sharply criticised the incident, and Jewish students have filed a complaint.

According to the "Standard", several FPÖ officials - including Harald Stefan and Martin Graf - attended a funeral in Vienna's Hernals district on Friday. The SS anthem "Wenn alle untreu werden" (When everyone becomes unfaithful) was supposedly sung there. It praises the "holy German Reich". It is not clear whether the politicians themselves sang.
A complaint has been filed with the public prosecutor. SPÖ and Greens are outraged. FPÖ defends itself.
