Fort Belvoir, Fairfax County celebrate community covenant with first Bridge Walk in five years

Since 2009, neighbors, businesses and civic organizations have gathered to walk over Veteran's Bridge in Springfield to recognize the renewal of the Fort Belvoir's Community Covenant. This year's event, held Saturday, was the first since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The walk began at 10 a.m. on the corner of Bland Street and Amherst Avenue in Springfield.
