Former Punjab Congress chief Mohinder Singh Kaypee joins SAD, fielded from Jalandhar LS seat

Former Punjab Congress chief and ex-MP Mohinder Singh Kaypee has joined the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) party and was named its candidate from the Jalandhar (SC) Lok Sabha seat. This move comes two days after Congress MP Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary and its national secretary Tajinder Pal Singh Bittu joined the BJP in Delhi. SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal welcomed Kaypee into the party fold and named him as the Jalandhar (SC) Lok Sabha seat candidate.
