Laurent Moussière was accused of having taken advantage of his status to get closer to young boys and of having killed some 40 people in Lyon and his region between the early 1990s and his arrest in Périgueux in 2021.
"Forgive me, I am ashamed of the acts I have committed," Laurent Moussière declared at the close of his trial this Thursday in the criminal court of the Rhône. He was found guilty of rape and sexual assault on twenty victims, adolescents, between 1986 and 2021. The Advocate General had claimed a sentence of 20 years.
Described as a “predator”, Laurent Moussière, 60, was accused of having taken advantage of his status to get close to young boys and of having made around forty victims.
