The chief executive of a dairy company (39) from Lower Austria, of Serbian origin, was sentenced to 13 months in prison before the Court in Wiener Neustadt for manslaughter and causing bodily harm after the bacteria “listeria” was found in the cream produced by his company, the consumption of which led to the death of five people.
