Former Atlanta radio host Big Tigger won’t be prosecuted
Court documents say Darian Morgan will not face charges after a May domestic incident that led to arrest and a temporary protective order.
- The Fulton County District Attorney's Office will not prosecute Darian Morgan, the former "Rap City" host known as Big Tigger, on charges arising from allegations he pushed his wife, Alicia Brown, into a door.
- Morgan faced arrest on battery and child cruelty charges following an argument with Brown over text messages; court documents allege he shoved her, causing her to strike an office door headfirst.
- After the arrest, Morgan stepped away from his radio show, "The Big Tigger Morning Show" on V-103; a court granted Brown a temporary protective order requiring Morgan to stay 200 yards away from her and their children.
- Denying the allegations, Morgan vowed to fight the case, telling TMZ, "For the past 30+ years, I have built my life around relationships and community."
- Separately, Brown was arrested on Interstate 85 in Hart County near the South Carolina line on kidnapping and custodial interference warrants issued out of Baltimore, Maryland, related to a missing persons case.
