Turkey's pumps continue to fight vegetarian fires that affect more provinces, including Kocaeli and Canakkale, in the north-west, fed by violent wind, but also by canyculation temperatures. Hundreds of pumps, with dozens of self-sustained fires, intervene to boost the flames, announces Hurriyet Daily.
The Tekirdağ Şarköy and Çanakkale Gelibolu fires, which started the day before yesterday, were brought under control thanks to the extraordinary work of the Forest Management and surrounding municipality teams.
The forest fire in Tekirdağ has been partially brought under control, and the damaged areas have been visualized.
