Fontaines D.C. Add Second Slane Castle Date

On Wednesday, Fontaines D.C. announced a second 80,000-capacity show at Slane Castle for Sunday, June 27, 2027, following phenomenal demand for their initially announced Saturday, June 26 date.
Days after teasing the venue during their Electric Picnic headline set, the Dublin band confirmed the initial Slane Castle date Monday morning before rapidly adding the second date.
Supporting acts Hayley Williams, Damien Dempsey, and Madra Salach will perform both nights, with presale tickets at €89.25 launching Wednesday and general sales opening Thursday, September 3 at 10am.
The Dublin rockers will become the third Irish act to headline Slane Castle, following Thin Lizzy in 1981 and U2 in 2001, joining legendary performers including The Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen.
Both performances align with the October 16 release of 'Dopamine Chamber', their fifth studio album, while falling during Glastonbury weekend, potentially limiting any Worthy Farm appearance to Thursday or Friday.
