Floydada students earn Texas FFA Lone Star Degrees
Hard work and dedication have paid off for seven Floydada Collegiate High School students. Aivery Bennett, Armando Chavarria, Rilynn Hinsley, Nalia Ordonez, Madison Pyle, Kanon Rainwater, and David Sanchez received the highest degree of membership the State FFA Association can award last week at the 98th Annual Texas FFA Convention in Fort Worth.

Spur’s Weiser, Molina receive honors at State FFA Convention
Spur High School students Kylie Weiser and Keylee Molina each qualified to receive their Lone Star Degree at this year’s 98th FFA Convention in Fort Worth. Weiser, accompanied by Superintendent Tanya Phillips, attended the convention July 7–10, attending educational sessions and conversing and collaborating with FFA members across the state.
