Florida State Receiver Duce Robinson to Have Season-Ending Knee Surgery, AP Source Says
The Seminoles will also be without two top running backs as they visit Boston College, AP reported.
On Tuesday, Florida State wide receiver Duce Robinson was confirmed to undergo season-ending knee surgery after suffering a torn ACL during the team's 36-24 loss to Clemson on Saturday.
The surgery announcement comes fewer than 48 hours after Florida State fired head coach Mike Norvell on Sunday, Nov. 1, eight games into his seventh season with the program.
Robinson finishes his senior season with 438 yards and four touchdowns on 24 receptions, while star running back Ousmane Kromah remains sidelined for the season with an ankle injury.
Interim head coach Rick Stockstill now leads the Seminoles as they prepare for Saturday's matchup against Boston College without two of their top offensive weapons.
Following an undefeated 2023 campaign and ACC championship, the Seminoles have posted a 10-22 record since the 2024 season, highlighting the program's steep decline under new leadership.
