Florida sheriff's office called to home for '15-20 foot python' finds rat snake under car hood

The Lee County Sheriff's Office received a call about a python in a car. Sgt. James Van Pelt arrived at the scene expecting to dispose of an invasive species. He found a much smaller red rat snake wrapped up among the wiring. The snake was safely removed and released, unharmed, in a nearby wooded area.
