January 2031 is too early to stop radio broadcasting on the FM band. That is according to Flemish Minister of Media Cieltje Van Achter (N-VA). The target date of 2031 for the FM switch-off came after a study. But Van Achter does not want listeners to be left behind in the digitalisation of the radio landscape.
