(BCN) -- A baby boy born in San Leandro appears to be the first Bay Area baby born in 2026. The boy was born at 12:03 a.m. at Kaiser Permanente San Leandro Medical Center. He was shortly followed by another birth, a baby girl born at 12:07 a.m. at a Kaiser Permanente hospital as well.
