Breaking: Barn fire reported in Ross County

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio – Emergency responders are currently heading to the scene of a reported barn fire in the 1400 block of Maple Grove Road. Dispatchers were alerted to the blaze around 4 pm this afternoon after a 911 caller reported visible flames coming from the structure. The cause of the blaze remains unknown, and it is not yet clear what the barn was used for. Residents are advised to avoid the area to allow crews to manage the situation.

The smoke should no longer be a nuisance, the police say.
