80 acre vegetation fire stopped in eastern San Luis Obispo County
Firefighters responded to a vegetation fire on Saturday in eastern San Luis Obispo County.The San Luis Obispo County Fire Department posted on X at 3:30 p.m. that "forward progression of the Alma Fire has been stopped. Roughly 80 acres with 0% containment."According to the California Highway Patrol, someone reported that the fire started on their property in the area of Alma Road and Anwannee Trail at around 1:50 p.m.
