A mower could have been the trigger for the big fire in the High Venn. In the course of the investigation, the Liège Public Prosecutor's Office announces: Already the day before there was an incident with the machine.
According to RTBF, the equipment used would have caused a smoke release, controlled by DNF agents. Despite this incident, the machine was reused the next day, without any repair or maintenance being carried out in the meantime.
