Following the high-rise fire in Valencia, Spain, the authorities have adjusted the death toll slightly downwards. During the identification process, the police found that nine bodies had been found so far, explained Pilar Bernabé from the regional government on Friday.
At least ten dead in a residential building fire in the Spanish city of Valencia, according to a new balance provided on Friday by authorities, who are still searching for victims. The previous balance of the incident that occurred on Thursday, one of the most serious in recent years in Spain, was of four dead.
A fire broke out in a 14-story residential building in the Campanar neighborhood and quickly spread to the adjacent building.
