Actress Emmanuelle Devos has announced the death of the director, aged 58, who had just finished shooting a movie in Scotland.
The author of comedies such as “Arrête ou je continue” and “La Belle et la Belle” was released by La Fémis in 1990. Stars like Emmanuelle Devos and Fabrice Luchini paid tribute to her.
During her career, she directed a dozen short and feature films, including the romantic comedy “La Belle et la Belle” with Sandrine Kiberlain.
The 50-year-old, whose remarkable work gave pride of place to female characters, passed away in the morning, this Monday, July 31. She had just finished shooting her seventh feature film, “Ma Vie, ma Gueule”.
