Charges Filed Against Man Who Hacked His Uncle to Death

JUNCOS – Judge Enid C. Rivera García, of the Caguas Court, determined cause for arrest last night on charges of first-degree murder and the use of a machete against Víctor M. López Rojas, who allegedly hacked his 72-year-old uncle to death with a machete late Saturday afternoon, during an argument over some gas tanks that the septuagenarian had supposedly opened inside the house.

Authorities have filed charges against 55-year-old Victor Lopez, who killed his 72-year-old uncle, Rafael Rojas, with a machete. The man is charged with first-degree murder and under Section 6.06 of the Criminal Code.
