Falcons Sacks King John Abraham Has Former Coach Mike Smith Return to Lead Ring of Honor Ceremony
John Abraham received a red jacket and a halftime tribute as the Falcons honored their all-time sack leader with family and former teammates on hand.
On Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026, the Atlanta Falcons inducted former defensive end John Abraham into the team's Ring of Honor during halftime against the Baltimore Ravens.
Over 15 seasons with the New York Jets, Falcons, and Arizona Cardinals, Abraham recorded 133 1/2 sacks and 48 career forced fumbles ranking third all-time.
Team owner Arthur Blank told Abraham, "John, welcome back," while former Falcons coach Mike Smith called him "one of the most feared pass rushers the game has ever seen."
Atlanta also announced that former offensive lineman Bill Fralic will be posthumously inducted into the Ring of Honor when the team hosts Tampa Bay in Week 16.
A nominee for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2026, Abraham joins past inductees including Warrick Dunn, Roddy White, and Deion Sanders in franchise history.
