By a vote of Tehran City Council members, the provision of free services on metro lines and express buses was extended for another two months.
Mohammad Akhandi clarified: "The issues mentioned are for another bill from the municipality. Our issue is the two-month extension, considering the previous resolution. Either this free service should be extended for another two months or we should return to the previous resolutions. My view is that it should be extended for two months."
