Syria's state petroleum company said a fire broke out on Monday evening on a gas pipeline between the Al-Shola area and Deir Al-Zour after an explosion at a pipeline isolation valve, which it attributed to sabotage, state news agency SANA reported.
The Government of the Syrian oil company reported that the gas flow from the Gibassa station to the power stations had ceased following a fire caused by sabotage in the shula-Deir-Zor pipeline, confirming that efforts were under way to put it out.
Today's Monday evening, a gas line fire broke out between the Shula region and the Dir al-Zawr because of the explosion of the CT valve in the line as a result of sabotage.
The fire in the natural gas pipeline in Syria was reportedly caused by "sabotage".
