Experts warn parts of the UK about 'tornado risk' amid intense wind and rain

Parts of the UK are at risk of experiencing a tornado today, experts have said. Severe weather was forecast from 4am today (December 30) and is expected to continue through to 6am on December 31. This comes days after residents in Stalybridge, Tameside experienced a tornado which damaged around 100 properties.
