Prosecutor Accuses KJ Biermann of Having Sex With Underage Relative
Prosecutors said investigators found multiple videos on his cellphone and alleged predatory language, adding to seven felony charges from a separate case.
On Friday, 15-year-old Biermann appeared in Georgia's Fulton County Superior Court facing seven felony charges. Prosecutors alleged investigators discovered cellphone videos depicting penetrative sex with a family member under 12.
Biermann had been under court supervision for 10 months following a prior sexual battery charge involving a victim under 16. Authorities allege he used "predatory, derogatory" language toward that victim.
During the hearing, Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy revealed "multiple encounters" on video were discovered on the device. These allegations involve a separate case regarding a female classmate.
Defense attorney Jason Sheffield requested a $65,000 bond, proposing Kim monitor the teen at home. Sheffield denied the allegations related to the separate assault case.
Judge Melynee Leftridge will determine whether Biermann will be released on bond by Monday, September 14. The defense maintains the teen is innocent of the felony aggravated sodomy and sexual battery allegations.
