- Larian Studios and Wizards of the Coast have partnered with Random House Worlds for a new collaboration centered on the 2023 RPG Baldur's Gate 3, featuring four tie-in releases planned for 2026.
- Author T. Kingfisher's prequel novel, Baldur's Gate 3: Astarion, launches September 29, 2026, following the High Elf during his servitude to the vampire lord Cazador Szarr.
- Neil Newbon, who won Best Performance for his portrayal of Astarion at The Game Awards in 2023, will narrate the prequel novel's audiobook for Penguin Random House Audio.
- Three additional 2026 releases include Baldur's Gate 3: The Necromancy of Thay notebook on July 21, a coloring book on August 11, and A Feast for a Tenday: The Official Baldur's Gate Cookbook by Andrew Wheeler on November 3.
- Beyond these literary releases, HBO is developing a television series set after the game's events, helmed by Craig Mazin, known for his work on Chernobyl and The Last of Us.
