Peugeot raised the prices of all models in France, except for fully electric ones, by up to 500 euros (12,500 crowns) in November. Renault added 300 euros (7,500 crowns) to the price tag of the Clio SCE 65 model, but left the price of the hybrid versions unchanged. This marked the beginning of a rise in the price of cars with combustion engines caused by the high fines that manufacturers face from next year for excessive carbon dioxide emissions.
