German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced online that they intend to use frozen Russian funds to finance the armed forces in Ukraine for at least two more years. The EU must finalize a plan for using the frozen Russian funds and thus increase pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin, he said, adding that they want to ensure a speedy end to the war.
Federal Chancellor Merz defends his active role in the dispute over a peace in Ukraine. And he insists on the use of frozen Russian assets for the attacked country.
