The European Union’s Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) notified in May of up to five phytosanitary substances that are banned in European agriculture (dimethoate, oxamyl, clothianidin, chlorpyrifos and imidacloprid) in fruits and vegetables from Egypt, as reported on Monday by the Valencian Farmers’ Association (AVA-Asaja).
