Emmerdale and Corrie to face ITV schedule shake-up next week - when to watch
ITV will replace the soaps with live rugby coverage, and the broadcaster has not confirmed whether the missed episodes will air later.
On Friday, November 6, ITV will remove Emmerdale and Coronation Street from the schedule to broadcast the Nations Championship rugby match between Ireland and Argentina, with coverage from 7:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
ITV frequently adjusts its schedule for major sporting events, often axing or moving soap operas to accommodate matches. The network has not confirmed if the affected episodes will be rescheduled or cancelled.
Away from the ITV soap, Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott is filming the comedy-drama Waif in London, playing a "drifting art curator" named Noah alongside co-stars Helen Foster, Jason Flemyng, and Dexter Fletcher.
Directed by Rocky Rodriguez, Waif explores a community of slackers attempting to persevere despite social services monitoring them. Prescott said: "We are rollllliiiing, first week into the WAIF shoot and loving it, thank you all for the amazing energy on set!"
Ireland aims to begin its autumn campaign with a victory against the Pumas, who will travel to Dublin for the fixture at Aviva Stadium. Mark Pougatch will present coverage of the opening Nations Championship match.
