Egg hatches in U.S. Steel's bald eagle nest

An egg in the bald eagles’ nest at U.S. Steel’s Irvin plant in West Mifflin has hatched. Bald eagles Irvin and Claire, who nest near U.S. Steel’s Mon Valley Works — Irvin Plant, welcomed the first eaglet of the season Sunday morning, according to Andrew Fulton, spokesman for U.S. Steel.
