The rating agency still ranks the Hexagon among the debts of good quality, with an Aa3 rating, when its competitors Fitch and Standard & Poor has only granted it A+ since autumn.
Moody has decided to keep the note of the French debt to Aa3. This could be lowered in the autumn. Indeed, the rating agency is concerned about the instability of the National Assembly, which could, once again, make it very difficult to adopt a budget for next year, 2027 announcing that it will be a particularly tense year because of the presidential election.
The financial rating agency confirms France's Aa3 rating while stressing the progress made on the public deficit and the soundness of the institutions.

The rating agency maintains its Aa3, thus maintaining its difference with Standard & Poors and Fitch who have already tipped the country into the lower category.
