A law designed to make obtaining a licence cheaper could come into force at the earliest in 2027, and even then it would not become "directly cheaper".
Transport Minister Schnieder promises that the driving licence reform will be implemented quickly. Nevertheless, he says it's not worth waiting: driving licences won't get any cheaper that fast. The market will regulate that.
