Two Stabbed at Day Rave at Birmingham's Luna Springs Events Venue
Police said both victims were taken to hospital and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, while no arrests have been made.
On Saturday, May 9, two men were stabbed at the Cru2: The Birmingham Shutdown event at Luna Springs in Digbeth. West Midlands Police were called to Lower Trinity Street at approximately 7pm.
Music stopped abruptly midway through the nine-hour outdoor rave after the stabbing occurred. A screen behind the DJ booth displayed a message: "Can everyone please leave the venue via the nearest exit."
Police confirmed both victims' injuries are "not believed to be life-threatening." Officers remain at the scene while an investigation takes place to understand what happened and find those responsible.
Cru2 Events cancelled the afterparty due to unforeseen circumstances. All ticket holders for the main event and afterparty will be contacted on Monday regarding the incident.
