DOE: PUV fuel subsidy to continue until year-end
The government’s fuel subsidy program for public utility vehicle drivers will continue at least until the end of the year due to still-volatile pump prices, according to Energy Secretary Sharon Garin.
COTRAP-APOIP asked the Government to correct the difficulties experienced during the previous fuel subsidy and to simplify the mechanism for accessing the benefit.
