"He behaved irrationally, we were surprised that his superiors did not notice it," prison officers told an RMF FM reporter about a uniformed officer from a detention center in Katowice who fatally stabbed a doctor from Krakow. The 35-year-old heard the charges today, which carry a sentence of life imprisonment. The prosecutor's office filed a motion with the court for a three-month detention.
“He was not allowed to have contact with weapons, so he was qualified as a disturbed person,” says our informant from the Prison Service about the officer who murdered a doctor yesterday in Krakow. Earlier, Deputy Justice Minister Maria Ejchart reported that “the service was receiving signals about the behaviour of this officer which should have caused concern.”
