Digital and Intelligent Empowerment for Innovative Development--2026 WIC Asia-Pacific Summit Opens in Hong Kong

On Monday, April 13, the World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in HONG KONG, launching a two-day event focused on innovation and technology in the Asia-Pacific region.
The two-day summit, themed "Digital and Intelligent Empowerment for Innovative Development Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future Cyberspace," aims to transcend geographical boundaries while advancing global digital innovation and technological exchange.
Nearly 1,000 participants from over 50 countries attended the opening ceremony, including Samuel Migal, Nahima, and John Hoffman, CEO of GSMA Ltd., alongside other International officials and industry leaders.
Six forums will address critical topics including innovation and application of agents, digital finance, security and governance, technology for better life, digital and intelligent health, and digitalization and dissemination of classical texts.
The Main Forum and the Distinguished Contributors Gala pay tribute to pioneers, innovators, and contributors to internet development, aiming to foster global consensus and pool collective wisdom across the International community.
