Proposed shift of Prajwal Revanna to Hindalga prison temporarily put on hold
The Karnataka Prisons Department’s proposal to shift Prajwal Revanna, former Hassan MP, who is serving a life sentence in a rape case, from Parappana Agrahara Central Prison has been temporarily put on hold.
Bengaluru: Former Janata Dal-Secular MP Prajwal Revanna, who is serving a life sentence in a sexual assault case, has been transferred from Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara Central Jail to Belagavi Jail in North Karnataka.
DGP Alok Kumar has ordered the transfer of former MP Prajwal Revanna to Hindalaga Jail in Belgaum. It was a big news that a mobile phone and a pen drive were found in the cell of the former MP in Parappana Agrahara Jail. An investigation was also ordered in this regard under the leadership of the DIG. Following this, another important decision has been made by DGP Alok Kumar, Prisons and Correctional Services Department.
