- Currently serving a 50-month prison sentence for a July 2025 conviction, Combs continues to pursue this legal battle from custody; a court hearing is scheduled for September 17 to determine next steps.
- Lawsuits also name Nexstar Media, the parent company of NewsNation, as a defendant, with Combs' legal team claiming the network amplified "blatant falsehoods" to provide the defendants a platform for profit.
