Derek Underwood: Former England cricketer dies aged 78
Derek Underwood, the most successful spin bowler in England Test cricket history, has passed away at the age of 78, as announced by his former county Kent.
Underwood took 297 wickets in 86 Tests, outperforming other England spinners, like Graeme Swann, by 42 wickets.
After retiring, Underwood became the president of Marylebone Cricket Club and was inducted into the International Cricket Council's Hall of Fame.
