Denver opens 60 tiny homes in first standalone micro-community for people experiencing homelessness

Summary by Ground News
The site at 621 W. Wesley Ave., just south of the intersection Santa Fe Drive and Evans Avenue on the east side of the Platte River, consists of 60 pre-fabricated tiny homes and a community center fenced off from the Overland Park neighborhood there. The micro-community is situated right next to the neighborhood. The site survived a successful legal appeal from area residents, which claimed the city hadn't properly recorded community feedback.
